Janell Billiot is the best! We started looking for a home in late November, Black Friday to be exact. I had called her & asked if she was available for that weekend and she promptly said yes. We thought we knew what we wanted, but to our surprise my husband and I didn’t agree on the same thing. We probably looked at 20 houses both liking somethings about the home but never really agreeing 100% on anything. I was getting frustrated as my new job was starting in December. Janell was very patient with us & told us when we found the house we would know it. All along, she was getting ideas of what we wanted, so she said let’s go back to the office.

She looked at inventory and told us she wanted to show us a house in Lake David. She called the other Realtor and the house was not available for showing due to the holidays. We went back to Louisiana sort of disappointed we hadn’t found a home. That night Janell called & told us to let her know when we were coming back and she still wanted to show us the house in Lake David. We told her when we were coming back & she scheduled an appointment. We walked into this home, & we knew this was the one! Long story short – she knew what we wanted way before we knew what we wanted!

I worked with Janell for a number of months while in the process of looking for a new home. I have met many Realtors over the years and my experience has been that most Realtors work with you for a few days/weeks, and then they “move on”.
